no sound cards = worse game(performance)

just wondering if what i heard is true
will only having intragrated sound inhibit the performance of game play
obviously the game wont be as good from the sound3d effect but what about
tecnical aspects

Integrated sound does slow performance but only a little bit, since the sound is being processed by your cpu instead of the cpu on a sound card.

ya, it is very slight, i didnt notice anything differnt in games with and without a sound card.
