No sound after format.

Go in to Device manager, And look to see if there is a ? next to your sound card. This will tell you if its installed or if there is a problem with the device. If you do not know how to go in the device manager, let us know. Me or someone will walk you though it.

well
you need to install drivers for your sound hardware

or you can simply unplug your sound card and replug it in so the windows will detect it

or just go out buy a new sound card put it in

it's doesn't cost much for a sound card

My friend just formatted my computer and reistalled all the drivers except when he installed sound drivers it didnt work after woulds.

he download them from http://h50055.www5.hp.com/campaign/compaq/au/en/cpq_support.html

my computer ID is:
presario SR1500AN
XP home sp home

thier realtek high def audio.

Since your PC has high definition sound its possible that the install didn't install the Microsoft UAA Bus Driver for High Definition Sound. Look in "System Devices" in device manager to see if its installed already. If it isn't then you need to install that first before the high definition driver will install. Do you have an unknown devices in device manager? If you do and don't already have the Microsoft uaa driver installed then right click on that item and click on properties and update the driver. Have it look on windows update and it should automatically find that its the UAA driver and install it. I've had quite a few instances of this in the last few months with system builds i've done.

C:\Program Files\Belarc\Advisor\System\tmp\(It).html

this should be my system data. If it helps.

Sorry, we can't access a file thats on your computer. Where is the question mark located and what does the device say? unknown device? or what?
