No headphone jack on speakers

It turns out I obtained new, upgraded speakers from the company after some defects from my previous set.

The new model I have now sounds great but it doesn't have a headphone jack I'm used to having when I'm listening to music. The speakers and headphones use the same audio jack on the back panel of the sound card. Is it possible to use Y-splitters to interchange between headphone and speakers?

You're going to want something like this:

Your typical Y splitter will only output sound to your headphones and speaker simultaneously, so you'll want something that can switch between the two.

I never knew they made those with a convenient headphone switch. There are also Y-splitters with volume control but they are cheaper. I'll end up buy one or the other. Thanks for your help PohTaytoez.
