No Devices

I just cleared my harddrive and after reinstalling windows xp my system no longer detects an audio device. After installing a new card with audio out ports it still doesn't detect it or the stock audio device built into the motherboard. What the hell?

Because I don't have the cd, it didn't come with one. Besides. the built in device in my motherboard worked fine before I cleared the drive.

Try to download the driver from the internet. This will be more easier than searching for the CD :D

It worked before, yes, but it's not working right now, so I think you should face the present and don't think about the past :)

Well thats before and not now so it doesnt matter. You'll have to download drivers for it off the internet. You can usually get drivers for stuff like that from your mobo maker's website. If you're too lazy or desparate or whatever you can try these generic drivers but theres no guarnatee they'll work :)
