No Audio Output Device is Installed

Hey since yesterday the little speaker icon in the bottom right hand corner has had a red cross over it and i have not been receiving any audio

When I look at my speaker drivers there is nothing listed under 'playback' or 'recording'

Any help is greatly appreciated
 
Download and install PC WIzard and run it. Go to FILE, SAVE AS and click ok, then copy the text out of that file into this thread.
 
just google your motherboard and find out what audio it uses then download the driver, it is most likely to be realtek audio if its an old computer it will be realtek ac97, or if its newish it will be realtek hd audio

Or he can just use PC Wizard to get all that info and more in 30 secs.
