No Audio Device....

Hi folks, me again!

I've just done a self build, and I'm having a few various problems, and this is just one of them!

This is what is new...

Gigabyte S-series GA-965P
Core 2 Duo E6600
2 gig Corsair Ram
Leadteck 8800GTS 640meg
550 watt psu
320gig SATA

I'm running XP sp2

"No Audio Device".....is the problem.
I've installed all the sound drivers off the mobo disk. I went to the Gigabyte website and downloaded their latest drivers and still no show?

Over to you guys..:)

The mobo looks like it's not detecting the onboard sound device at all.
I spoke to my mobo supplier today, and I'm sending the thing back to get tested, as this sound problem is just one of many I'm having.

I'll let you know how I get on.
 
Update......

The problem seemed to be Microsoft Bus Drivers.
Sorted them, installed then Realtek Drivers and WOOOHOOO!

I HAVE SOUND!!!

What a nightmare, but I'm still having allsorts of other problems.:mad:
