Nikon Coolscan IV ED won't run on Win7Pro 64

Any ideas for a work around. only ran on 32 bit windows xp pro. can't get it to run on this machine. any ideas?

what ive seen at Microsoft its not compatible with 64 bit. thought maybe someone had another work around to try. Its a dedicated scanner for negatives and slides only. ive tried running in compatibility mode and everybody did to.

The best place usually to find latest hardware drivers for Windows 7 is at the manufacturer's site. In addition, you can try the Windows 7 Compatibility Center where you can search on the name of your hardware (and software too) for compatibility, download the Upgrade Advisor (which scans your machine for compatibility issues), or find updated drivers that address compatibility issues.

Ok thanks. bottom line was from Nikon. No support for Vista or 7 64 bit. BUT, said look at 3rd party software vuescan and silverfast software. thats where im at. Worse condition i will use on the other computers.
