Just for information, what has been anybody's experience with Newegg open box deals?
I've been scouring the egg for mobo and gpu and have found several (seemingly)
nice deals but they are open box.

They are 100% working products but may not come with all the cables and accessories that the new ones are supposed to come. That's all i know about that.

My experience has been great, as generally when people return items they want the credit back, so they include as much if not all of the included accessories. Having said that, if you're just saving a bit (ie, $5-10), it might not be worth it. However, in my case (ie, the ASRock X58 Extreme which is $170 new and at least was $118 open box) it was well worth the money spent. It came with everything I needed!

I agree with Jet I bought this board in my sig for $100 and it was $160 new and had everything that came with the retail :P

The others have already said it, you can get some really good deals with open box products. A friend of mine bought a Samsung 24" monitor and saved about $100. It was in perfect condition when it arrived.

Just make sure you test the part when you get it. The return policy on open box items is a little different than a new item.
