I got this little guy today and I'm very happy :D It's an RCA RTD170, home theater in a box.

As you can see, it's about the size of a DVD player(it's the one right under the TV) It features a basic DVD/CD player, FM Tuner, 1 optical and 2 RCA inputs. It's build quality is a bit cheap, but it makes up for it in sound and playback quality!

Also, if you check the link out, it originall came with a little sub...probably a 5"-6" I'm debating selling that as I'm using my old 10". It'll shake the floor downstairs pretty easilly :D

I'm not sure if I'll hook it up to my computer right now or not... I don't play many games that need 5.1 and it's perpendicular to my computer so the sound would be off... But one great feature about it is how you can play MP3s off memory cards. So I can just load a few songs on an SD card and play them that way rather than worrying about a CD-RW or anything like that :D

OK, noone probably cares, but I'm HAPPY :D
 
It's actually surprisng how much power those little HTIB amps can put out. My friend has a 1000 watt JBL car sub hooked up to his amp like that and it shakes the house!
 
*nods* I don't think it's "true" 500 watts, but this thing's definetly very loud and stays very clear at high volumes. And then my sub just takes the high in and uses it's own 120w amp... It shakes the house pretty easilly :D
 
Alpine9898 - What do you think I did with this sub before I got the stereo ;)

Motoxrdude - I only have one other satellite connected that's not pictured, right now. I don't really have a good way to have the rear speakers connected. My bed's in the corner of my room, and there's no place to set the speaker over there.
