new rig

As my last post said I am thinking of building a new system, i have never done this, I have added ram and a few cards and drivers,I am confident i could build it fine, but my worries lie in after that, what do i at first boot up? i have no idea on what to do, a step by step would be nice. for instance what is "flashing the cpu?" i also know very little about bios, i guess i would have to load all sorts of drivers? It seems as if the actual building is the easy part, it's the programming that is a killer!! Could i build it and drop it at a computer store for all this? what do you think it would cost? Thanks guys, this is a great site with very helpful posters.

install the mobo drivers,then start with windows..i know how you feel,my first build was the hardest thing..put it together fine..but then installing windows and the drivers on a brand new pc had me confused...plus the fact that it wasn't being very friendly ontop of that..had to skip a day of shcool.


EDIT:Just for your sake,before i built my computer i had only installed a graphic card and more ram into my old P3...its just that easy!
