New Computer, No Sound

Hey everyone,
I just got a new comp., with an ASUS P5GD1, with onboard audio. I cannot get my sound to work. I went into the disc that came with my mobo, went to drivers, and tried to install my Realtek Audio Driver. It went fine up until 50% completed, and then it gave me this Error message: "Cann't found Match Realtek HDAudio Info File!". (The spelling and grammar are exactly what was on the screen) When I clicked OK, it had a Warning message that said "Realtek HD Audio driver Setup Failure!" Anyone know how to fix this? I would have thought that all the files would be on the mobo disc. I can't play some of my games without the audio, so help would be great.
Thanks a lot,
Derek

Try from mobo manufactureer. But i had a friend whose sound didn't work either. Just get a cheap sound card if cannot. It'll take the burden of the cpu so worth the investment.

Yeah, I was thinking of getting a soundcard anyway, so maybe I will just do that.
Thanks,
Derek

So, I reformatted my hdd, and that didn't work. So now I have a different message though...It says I need to install the Microsoft Bus Driver first, and then the audio driver...How do I do this?
Thanks,
Derek

my friend had the same problem...turned out that his onboard sound totally broke =\ he had a really cheap mb.

Well I have a good mobo. I think someting may have happened...He had the exact problem? I may just get a new sound card.
Thanks,
Derek
