Hi, i'm have a problem with networking 3 computers. All 3 computers are plugged into a Belkin 4 port router. I connect to the internet on my comp + have the internet shared.
The problem i'm having is that i can see the other computers + access them, they can see mine but cant access it or have any internet access. Ocassionally after a lot of reseting the router, they can access my comp + occasionally it works fine but the next morning nothing works again!!!
When one of us tries to access another computer we sometimes get the message .."MSHOME is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Ther list of servers for this workgroup is not currently avaliable."
The current situatuion of network is... we can see all 3 comps in the workgroup, they can access each others but not mine,i cant access either of theirs. Theyre comp says its connected to the internet on my connection but no internet pages load????

Any ideas what i'm doing wrong? (I'm using XP)

1) make sure all computers are in the same group, to do this right click on my computer and select properties then go to the computer name tab. Make sure the workgroup is all the same.
2) now disable the firewalls on each computer, then see if they can access each other, if they can then it is a firewall problem, if it isn't then plz post further details, preferably naming each pc first e.g. PC#1 cant connect, PC#2...blah blah

Are you setting the IP, Gateway, and Subnet manually or is it set to automatic? If its automatic, make sure either your modem or your router has DHCP enabled. If its manually configured, make sure the gateway and subnet are right, and if possible, try setting it to auto. (Makes life easier lol)
