networkin a computer in a different building

I just setup a Router at my office and i want to be able to make my computer at home part of the network can anyone help me on this i looked it up on forums and couldnt find anything. So the computer i am making part of the network isnt in the same building

try looking for stuff about VPNs (virtual private network). They aren't handled by the router though
