Network Wep

I have a wireless network card and my laptop is picking up my neighbours network called MYNETWORK. When I click on it, it asks for a network key (of course) but if I enter any key at all it connects to the network but says limited or no connectivity.
Is their any way I can get full access, except from asking my neighbour for the key :D
thanks.

Ive had this happen before. Other networks dont always ask for a key, if they do, its for security, basicly, if you dont enter the right key you wont be able to access their network. There may be connectivity to the router, but you wont get any internet access.

As far as your connectivity is concerned, your probably in a different building, and dont actualy know where the access point is, so you just have to try moving your computer around with the wireless card and see where the signal is stronger.

He doesn't have connectivity because he doesn't have the WEP key. It's not hard to get it, WEP doesn't have key management so you have a static key.

Why not just pay for your own internet access?
