Hi,

I have recently got Sky Broadband which uses a Netgear Router and have an 802.11g Wireless Cardbus Adapter in my computer to enable it to be wireless.

The wireless adapter works when I apply all the settings with the ethernet cable plugged in and then when I immediately take it out. However, if I log off or turn off the computer it stops working and I have to plug the ethernet cable back in to get it working again.

Any help would be great.

if i understand you properly, you're currently connecting your PC via Ethernet, not using your wireless adapter.
you will need to use Windows Wireless Network Connection to search for the wireless and connect to that.

sky routers come already wireless protected, you should have a little card that gives you the info, you'll have to enter that to connect.
