Network problems

I`ve installed a network in my house, but I`m having some problems with it:

1)Only one computer can access the files of the other
2)This computer can`t enter the Documents and Settings nor the Program Files of the other nor the Windows folders.
3)I believe this network has considerably slowered the internet connection of this computer (the one that can see the other).

Just so you know, the internet connection is wirelessly shared, just like the network, but I installed the internet on this computer about a month before enabling the network.

1.)Make sure both computers are in the same workgroup, and both have been run through the network sharing wizard..

2.) in these folders you need to share single folders, as MS thinks it is a security threat to share the whole folder.

3.)Does seem reasonable, check for spyware malware on the slow PC.

1)They are, otherwise the slowest one couldn't be seeing the other one's folders.
2)I did that, adn it still says the folder is not accessible, and that I might not have permission to access it.
