Hi guys,
Im new here, getting frustrated on getting this to work, fortunately I found this site that might help me on my problem.
Summary:
I need to get internet on my desktop which is connected to my laptop which is connected to the access point which is connected to the internet. I need this setup to work without rearranging my topology.
In Depth:
I have two computers, desktop and laptop. Both are connected to the hub using wired connection. Another connection is running on the laptop which is wireless and connected to my access point to reach the internet. I can ping both computers both ways, I can even ping the access point from my desktop but I can't get internet from it but I can get internet from my laptop.
All IP configurations are static
Desktop - connected to hub with one ethernet card using wired connection (NO INTERNET)
note: i can ping laptop and access point from here but no internet

IP - 192.168.123.15
Subnet - 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway - 192.168.123.12 (Laptop)
note: I can ping the both connection on the laptop and the wireless access point from here but no internet
