netlimiter 2 pro

hello

i recently purchased (like 2 days ago) NetLimiter 2 pro so i can nick all the bandwidth on my LAN connection as i pay the bill LOL

the problem im having tho is that the help file is utter pants and im not sure how to limit the other connection and increase mine. i was wondering wheter i need to install the program on the other pc for me to be able to see and place a cap??? does any body use this program ??? if so can any body direct me to a forum or help group as the offical one is down BOOOOOO!

feel i should perhaps elaborate a lil on why i need help. iv recently set up a home network running 2 pcs. iv set it so that my lil sister can also access the net without always using mine. the problem is im a counter strike junkie ansd im now experiencing seriously high ping and latency rates which is fookin up my gaming experience.

i posted a thread at the weekend and got some good advice on getting this program which seems to be just what i needed but i really need some help using it!!

Yes it needs to be installed locally on the pc it is slowing down. I would expect it to be installed first on your computer as a server, and then the other pc's as clients. Just tell them it is for security reasons...
