i just bought a lower end netgear g router for $40 and was wondering if i can password protect it somehow so nobody can hack into it? i thought that all wireless routers could be protected with a password?
When you login to the router is ask for a user and pw. ALSO when someone is connecting the wireless signal a WEP key (also pw) would be requierd to access it. You need both setup, and you can do this in the router setup.
