need to scan my windows 7 is very slow

can some one tell me which program to use for speeding up my computer its very slow i am using window 7 64 bit my cpu is 3.0ghz dual the memmory is 4G but now its very slow come some one help me and tell me what to do ty

Did you scan it for viruses first? Your PC might be infected. Usually win7 dont slow down easily.

what kind of processor do you have? Download superantispyware freeware, run a full scan, let me know what it detects and then remove them... if its still slow we might want to do some hijackthis

First try removing all your temporary internet files as this folder can become filled with alot of junk over time use a program called Ccleaner. Here is the link http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/
