Need speaker and microphone help

Microphone-No one can hear me on my mic in cs:source. On the mic test page in the cs:s menu, i click the test microphone, and it works just fine...I turned the voice transit valume up all the way, etc. but no one can hear me...I can hear myself on my speakers, but they can't hear me.

Speakers: I just changed my cleron system to a new case. Now, the sound isn't working. My speakers are working, I tried downloading the latest drivers, and made sure that it wasn't muted anywhere, but I'm not getting any sound. Is my onboadd sound fried?
 
Anybody? I just tried a different mic but it still isn't workin. In the mic test page in CS, i click test microphone, and the little green bars light up to show that it is working, but no one can hear me in any server that I go to. My mic isn't muted in the taskbar, and I even did teh microsoft hardware check, and it says that my mic is working.
 
Finally figured out that you need to press a button on the keyboard...Been playin for about 4 months and i didn't know taht. Kinda sad if you ask me..lol.
