I'll tell you what:
I live out side the US and newegg doesn't make deliveries to where I live.

In my country X-540 costs about 150$... while the M960 costs something like 112$ and have actual remote...

You never told us where you live or what you price range was so how was I to know. If you won't help we will need your location, budget, which site you are using to purchase from. Not only that I was no expecting you use newegg I always post with newegg because it is easy to find what I'm looking for whether you use newegg or not I was just giving you an example of what to looks for. If you won't good quality speakers then get Logitech, Creative, Bose, JBL, Altec, or Cyber Acoustics.

Generally speaking speakers that are good for games are not always good for music. Games usually demand more bass and treble while music demands more midrange. What's the priority here for these speakers?

I believe he said he will be using it for games, music, and movies. Yes your right most games do need a lot of bass but it depends on him some people don't like a lot of bass I know I do.
