Need New Router

The current Router I have needs to be replaced. My brother is too cheap to buy a new one(the current one is his) So is there anything to look for in a router, I believe the current one is Linksys and would like to get them again. There are 4 computers on right now that use alot of bandwith i.e. games, downloading, website stuff. I have a bussiness connection, what would be the best router for me? also what are some tip and things to need to know in looking for a router.

I have the Linksys WRT54G and its a great router with lots of features. If you game, I would recommend getting it since you can set which programs get priority and which computer gets priority.

I like Linksys but do not buy the newer ones. Any WRT54G v.5 or newer tends to suck and Linksys cut down the hardware specs on them. I suggest getting a WRT54GL which you can still buy on newegg.com It has more memory and supports all the third party firmware. It is all around a better router.
