Need laptop help!! Network adapter / wifi not working

So I just got my laptop fixed at a computer place. cost me 140 $ for a new screen. After I got it back, ive been having some problems that werent there before. I have a compaq presario CQ57 laptop. The wifi toggle on off button is the f12 key. When wifi is turned on its white and when off, red. When I try to connect to wifi itll connect for a bit then the button will turn red and wont come back on. and disconnect. Even when I press it, itll stay red. I tried manually turning wifi on with device manager. Doesnt work. When the wifi turns off, its at complete random.
please pleeeaaase help me :/ I spent a lot of money just to get it fixed. and they just caused another problem for me. i dont wanna spend as much as a new laptop would be just to get this one fixed.
Any questions feel free to ask! I dont know much about computers.

Take it back and see if they can do anything for you. Tell them it was working fine before they replaced the screen. It's possible when replacing the screen they jiggled the wifi cable loose.
