need help

im trying to hook up my bros windows xp computer to his windows vista comp, hes has the main windows vista comp on the web but the windows xp one wont connect to it wirelessly,is there anything i can do to get this working?
 
Do you have a wireless router or something similar they are sending signals to? Or are you trying to do this directly pc to pc?
