Need Help

Well im a computer noob and have no idea what has happened my computer has just started diplaying in an older style of Windows. The computer is an ASUS and I am running Windows XP. I have attacthed a half screen shot to show what i mean.

Right-click anywhere on the desktop, and then select (left click) Properties from the menu that appears.

You will be presented with the display properties box,Choose Windows Xp and hit Apply

It should return to the Default Windows Xp theme

You are in "Classic" mode
Right click the desktop/Properties/Appearance tab/ Windows and buttons, then choose XP.

Thanks to both of you its all good now just on other thing is my touchpad has been disabled how do i re enable?

I see you're searching on "How to remove a Virus", these things happening to your computer could be caused by malware/virus. If you're concerned then follow the instructions in the "sticky" in the Security section.
If not and I assume you have a laptop, without the make/model it would be hard to give an instruction on enabling the touchpad.
