Need help with GB's!!!

I have a few questions, I am in the market to buy a new computer. If I was to get a computer that I could put the following programs on, how much GB's would I have to have in order for my computer to run properly.

Microsoft Windows
Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher, Outlook
Adobe Photoshop
LOTS of music and pictures.
No video though.

Would 500 GB hard drive do the trick or should I get something higher?

PLEASE HELP!

For that I'd say:

500GB Hard Drive
2GB Memory (RAM)
AMD or Intel dual core processor 2.0GHz or faster... if you're on a budget AMD is generally better (I'd recommend something with an Athlon 64 X2 4800+ or better processor... it's only for desktops only though), but for a higher end rig Intel is better (Core2Duo is what you're looking for.)

If you plan to use Windows Vista make that 3GBs of memory... Windows XP will run great with 2GBs though. You'll also need a decent video card to run Vista properly. :)

I would recommend a 250GB or 320GB. I think 500GB is a tad bit overkill for you, but the price per GB ratio is at an all-time low right now that it's not necessarily a bad thing to get more than you need I suppose.
