Need help with annoying problem!

okay guys,i have a situation here,my game GTA IV has wierdly been lagging so bad all day today and im not sure why,my temps are fine.

my framerates dropped to as low as 8FPS and it was unplayable.

so i was browsing on here,and noticed something at the top right corner of my screen,it does like a bleeping kind of action on and off good example would be hard drive light activity kind of on/off if you know what i mean.



im wondering if this damn thing is causing problems in my game.

the problem is i cant find any information to what the thing is,i think its called Splendid/instafun utility or something along those lines according to this

as you can see it faintly its there.

You mean that little circular thing with dots in the top right? It's included with firefox, it spins when a web page is loading, it doesn't seem like it should cause problems..

no no look closer,you have to focus to see it,on my screenshot where the search box is you can faintly see something there.

btw,GTA IV wont launch at all now i get rockstar social club is not responding....error report,ApphandB1
