Ok i have DSL PPPoE connection which means i use a username and password to log on.
Ok my dsl works and all i bought a laptop so i bought a router Linksys network everywhere router. Model NR041. I got this working once and i dont remember how i did it. I had to format a few months back and never redid the router.
I went through the setup CD's and instructions in the username and password i put those in. and at the top of the router setting it ask for hostname and domain name . i have tried leaving those blank. I tried putting sbcglobal.net in the domain name and hostname as my username. i have it set to pppoe connection and to obtain an ip address automatically. dunno what else to say. If anyone can help me please give me some suggestions to try.
