Need help please!!

Hi,
this is my 1st post on this site.

i need/want to upgrade my case/cpu fan/power supply/and videocard on my new dell

my dell is

intel i7 940
12 gigs 1066 mhz ddr3
ati 4820 512mb
1 tb hd
single cd drive
stock dell short tower
stock cooling

im wanting a higher end ati or nvidia

antec 900 case

and a 700+watt power supply

and a good cpu fan/cooler

any help?

If you wanted to do all that why did you buy a dell?
If you bought all those parts listed and changed case you might as well have not bought a dell and built your own.
For your GFX, I'm not aware of a"4820" you probably mean ther 4830... get an ati radeon 4850 and a new power supply, dell's one will not be able to cope.

You really should have custom built your new computer at Dell before purchasing the total package
By doing so it would have lots cheaper, and cleaner, and warranty would have remained
Depending upon how new is new, return it and organize a more custom design

I like Dell because they give you many options of "customizing" your computer, and the price is good
But if you want to build your own computer from scratch then don't purchase one of these leading complete computer manufacture brands; start with the Motherboard

I dont see how upgrading those minor items would be a big deal.
also i got the pc for 400.00 and its about 2 months old. i have a buddy that works for dell.
the pc i have now is a q6600 4 gigs 8600gt.
thus why i want to upgrade the i7 one a bit.

dont they have a better vid card than a 4850 now?

also will a antec 900 case work for this? its a xps studio.
