Need Help Networking Cable Internet And Vonage

Hey. I got a problem. Let me explain my setup. I have a gigabit eithernet on my motherboard. I have charter 4MB cable internet with a motorolla modem with one eithernet on the back. I have a linksys etherfast cable / DSL router which has one WAN on the back, and one LAN on the back. Then i have the vonage box, made by motorola. on the back of it, it has one blue port that says internet, and 4 eithernet ports. i dont know if it matters, but we only have 1 IP address. I need help. I am running windows XP MCE. Thanks a ton!

I don;t know what makes this so difficult...

Connect the cable cord to the back of the motorola cable modem, use a crossover cable to the back of the modem (usually red/yellow) and to the Internet port of the Vonage box. Then use the 4 ports on there, or plug the Etherfast into one of the 4 ports with a cross over cable.

yeah, well i tried that before. i followed your steps correctly. On the vonage box, the power was flashing, and the #1 led on from was flashing. the internet led wasent
