need help finding a soundcard

i haven't bought anything yet (no mobo yet) I'd like to get a soundcard and run my music collection through my sound system (right now 5.1).

This is the reciever I have now. I do plan on getting six speakers to play through soon so I can go 6.1.

I would like to stay under $40 along with shipping on a sound card. I believe I need to connect to my reciever with some kind of optical connection?

That should work. The sound card really doesn't do much if you're using digital out, as the receiver would be the one decoding and stuff.
