hello
i serched the net and i just cant find driver for my soundmax sound card
or an intallationd for my sound card
can some one help me find good and working installation for my sound card?
thx anyway ;)

Did you install that card yourself, or did it come with the computer? If it came with the computer, you can usualy find drivers on the computer companies website, like dell or gateway. Otherwise you should check the website of the manufacturer of your card.

You could also try going to properties of my computer, hardawre, device manager, and check the driver for your card, and search for updates that way.

if you cant get enough info there, try clicking "update driver"
it dosent work
i recive an message that say that i need som source to update the drive like from disc
and my disc is not working

what kind of computer do you have? Dell? Gateway? or did you build it yourself?

getting them directly from the manufacturer would be best, but these will probably work too http://list.driverguide.com/list/company1356/index.html youll have to join that site to download, its free, and i think you have to fill out a few little piddly things, but its worth it if you need drivers, that site rocks.

well thats odd, in that link i gave you it says the driver works for XP, then when you go to download them they only have 95 and 98 available...try downloading the one for 98, the worst that could happen is that it wouldnt work...

you could also try doing windows update, they sometimes have drivers for stuff like that.

in your device manager(right-click my computer>properties>hardware>device manager) does it show your SoundMax as being installed properly? is there a yellow question mark next to it or anything?

if it is indeed installed properly then you need to go to your audio settings area...click start>settings>control panel>sounds and audio devices...make sure the volume on the device is turned up..then click advanced and make sure everything there is turned up properly and isnt muted...unless its supposed to be muted..use your personal preference as to what is muted and what isnt.
