Need help buying an LCD monitor!

I was looking to buy a new monitor. My current one is a 16" CRT :(. I have used a 22" LCD before and loved it. I mostly surf the web, do school work, and do some gaming (Crysis, Bioshock, Orange box, etc..). There are so many different monitors to choose from! I was looking for a 20"/22" LCD with 2-5ms, at least 1000:1 contrast ratio minimum, and under $300 (preferably $200/$250). I have a cuby hole thing and it restricts how big I can go, a 22" barely fits. HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

Does anyone know what the best monitor is with something like those specs^?

I was looking at the LG-L206WTY-BF on newegg.

Hey diggidy, that is a nice monitor, but I think for that price I would just step it up another $20 and go for Samsungs T220 Rose, which has a 20,000:1 DC ratio.

Thanks for the help you guys!

my bad, I thought that's what I posted. I have the one from best buy but the T220 Rose is def the best way to go. AVG port and DVI, but no HDMI if your looking for one with that.

I've found that 22" is perfect for computer, at least for my setup. Good luck

diggidy, does the 20,000:1 really make that big of a difference? My friends have said once you get higher than like 3,000 you really don't notice it. I always thought it would be a lot better!

Well they may be right, once you get high enough you really cant tell, but it def can't hurt. Atleast then you know your ratio wont be too low ;-). I'd also get the 22" to completely fill your slot because it looks a ton better when you fill the whole thing instead of leaving an inch open on each side. Good luck
