Need Help, anyone from usa, specifically California

Long story short, I have a friend from Canada, who is working for the next month in California, near Pamona.

His work laptop crapped out yesterday on day 3 of his month-long work project. Where is the best place to get an ASUS laptop or something that is gonna be a good replacement for him.

He prefers to not go to a BestBuy or Fry's...etc and is cool with ordering online and shipping to the office or residence he's staying at.

Can anyone from the USA or, even better, California--recommend a solution!?

I'd say sign up for the TigerDirect newsletter, as they sometimes have excellent deals on certain laptops.
 
I would say Newegg, since he is already in california as thats there main office. Or TigerDirect/Compusa.

Should not be to hard to locate a store. Mostly everything computer related comes from china. Parts of ca. are like china, but mainly all teh distributors are in the LA area. I believe newegg is in LA also.
The BEST/cheapest place would be determined on what he wants , then using each stores search engine to find the cheapest price from all the stores searched. Prices are changing everyday.
