Need help! (Account freezing)

When I boot up my computer and log onto my Admin account, it seems that it is not entirely booting up the whole way, and it runs sluggish for a minute (IE: I can pull up Firefox or whatever for a couple of seconds) and then it freezes. It has the little swirling cursor saying that it is working on something, and says that Firefox is not responding etc. I press ctrl, shift escape to bring up the Task manager to close Firefox, and then that freezes and does the swirling cursor too. Pull up another one, and bam... swirling cursor after a second too.

I can tell that it isn't booting up entirely because Skype or Steam, which normally boot up automatically seem to never appear. I have also came to notice that it is only on my Admin account, or the account that I use the most. My guest account, and my gf's account(which I am posting this from) run just fine, as a computer should.

Any help or solutions as to what this could be and how to fix it would be greatly appreciated.

This is on a Laptop if that matters or helps solve it.

Run MSCONFIG. Start > Run > MSCONFIG and turn off Steam and Skype from the start menu.

Reboot and see if the PC starts correctly. If so, reinstate one at a time until the PC refuses to play ball. Then, reinstall that program.
