Need desperate help with 'beeping' headphones

Hello... I'm an 18 year old who just switched to a ShuttleX CPU (looks something like a shoebox). There seems to be a very irritating problem though. You see, I usually use a pair of headphones instead of speakers, and ever since i changed by CPU, there has been this eerie beeping sound everytime i click on the [-] button to minimize a window. On top of that, there's this constant subtle buzzing in the background which amplifies momentarily everytime i perform an action using my wireless mouse eg. scrolling, clicking. I'm guessing it's interference, but it's really getting on my nerves and giving me a headache, literally. Does anyone have any effective suggestions on how to eliminate this 'white noise' and 'beeping'? I didnt have this problem with my previous CPU. Many thanks in advance!

Kenn.

yes, upgrade ur soundcard or its drivers. i used to have this problem, but only when the headphones were connected to the computer, after i plugged in my 5.1 sound and used the headphone jack off the subwoofer there was no problem.
