DOes anybody know how to run 2 winows xp on one pc?

connecting one 2 monitors so that one pc will run 2 windows xp's?

You can have two copies of the same operating system on your computer but you can only run one at a time. Since the "primary" OS is going to be using all the parts of the computer like HDD, CPU, RAM, GPU etc.

that sounds like the best option to be

What you are calking about is running to OS on one machine, simultanious using both. You need a cpu that supports the new Virtualization Technology (already out on some intels - core duo and a few other) this allows runing 2 os's (with some performance penalty.) What chip do you have?

why do you even need two OS's at the same time?
think its more aim at server/warkstation level, where certain os functionality may be required that is not available from just one

i would just use file sharing and remote client.

As others have said, you cant run two versions of Windows XP at the same time. If you want two monitors to be run on it's own OS, your going to need two computers.
