Need a sound driver for my xp dimension 4700

ugh... if your really bad with computers chances are that you have the stock one thats probally intergradted in to the mother board. what mother board do you have? look on your mother board site for drivers or you might have a driver cd that came with the comptuer with the drivers on it

well you have the same computer as i do so open up the computer and do you see any pci cards in there?

My cd with the drivers on it does not work for some reason or another isnt there a link wwhere I can find a sound drivier. My friend found one before but he is not available now.

then you probably have integrated sound. can you open the sidepanel of yor computer and see if there is any PCI cards on the motherboard.

well you have integrated graphics and i dont know where you can get sound drivers for your motheroboard.

Search "Dell Drivers" in Google and it'll take to the site. The prompt will have you choose the desktop name, OS, etc. and then you can download all the drivers from there.
