Need A Camera For Christmas

I need your help in deciding on a camera for my mom for Christmas. I got a few criteria:

- It has to be under $200
- Point and shoot only, she won't be able to figure out DSLR's
- Has to be able to take good quality pictures (obviously)

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks dude, that first one looks really good, especially for someone who isn't huge on the details of photography. Still open for suggestions though.

However, if you feel she's more comfortable with the AA Batteries than rechargeable Li-Ion, I would go with either of the last 2 of Irish Whistle's suggestions. (Particularly #2)

Yeah, but rechargeable Li-Ions shouldn't be too hard to get used to.

That Nikon looks pretty good, but OUCH! No manual mode. :P

There are A LOT of people who don't like Li-Ion, I had a person last night who bought a brand new camera because she lost the cable to recharge the battery which is proprietary and you have to order directly from the manufacturer. She needed the camera to work now, so she had to get a new camera, not fun.

As far as no manual mode, if she's looking for point and shoot, why would she need manual... :)
