My speakers on my computer aren't working.

what is going on is that sometimes when i turn on my desktop, the sound works, other times when i turn it on, it doesn't work. But since the past few days, they have stopped working at all.I want to know what i can do to make it work. I think i bought the sound card from ebay, my speakers are Logitech Z-2300 ones.

I wiggled the speaker wire inside the speaker hole that came with the computer, then did the same with the sound card hole. nothing happened. I tested the speakers on my Nintendo DSi XL, the speakers work, so i think the problem is with my PC or my sound card.

What can i do about this?

I keep running into these bogus sites that say they will give you the free driver download (Something like that), but all they are is programs that want to install stuff on your PC such as ads...Making me pretty mad

Try reseating the card. Take it out and put it back in.
My want to try next finding another slot to put in if ya can.

Do as what tremmor stated....
Reinstall your sound card drivers.....
If it does not work then may be another sound card will be required.

If you know which sound card you have, or motherboard if the sound card is integrated, you can just go to the manufacturer's site and probably find the drivers there.

I did not mention for you to download free driver downloads at all.
It is obvious you do not have clue or understanding at the workings of a computer so I suggest then in your own interest is to take your PC to a repair shop.

I can't find the website for the manufacturer of the sound card. I think I entered the sound card name into google, did the search, but i cannot find the website. It doesn't even show up.
