My search for a entry-level camera!

Hello everyone. I'm looking for a good quality, under $350-$400 DSLR or DSLR-like, entry- to moderate-level camera.

I have a Fujifilm FinePix S1800, and I'm ready for a better camera. It's fine, but I really want a camera that acts much more like a real film camera. And it's color quality really sucks. I want a camera that has many advanced features, but enough basic ones too. I would like the option to change out lenses. I just want the pictures to look great, colorful, and sharp.

So can anyone help me out? I really want to get into photography, but its just so expensive. Oh, and I'm 14. :P

Never really seen cameras like that Lumix before.

As for the D3000, it's a good entry level camera. I don't know Nikons all that well personally (I use Canon). You might want to look for a kit though because lenses are expensive.

Hey, would a Rebel T3 fit an old AE-1 lens? because that would kick butt. I have a big long lens from my AE 1, and if it did fit, I wouldnt have to buy a lens.

Dude, save you self some money, and go used, I got my 450d, which has the same spec as T3, and I got it for 285 bucks, looks brand new...Also feels better in hand, T3, is...cheap feeling to me.

Enjoy!
