my router blocks my internet connection after a while

Hi all, I recently installed a wireless router and it all works fine.

I have this trouble occasionally where my internet connection just stops transmitting wirelessly to my laptop. The router also stops the internet via the Ethernet cable to my desktop. If I pull the power cord from the router, leave it for a couple of seconds, then connect it back up then it starts working again.

I have WEP 128bit encryption set.

What could be causing this? It's a D-Link 624+.

I dont have this problem if I hard wire connect via usb from my cable modem to the computer.


please help.
 
it happened to my sis's notebook. i was playing mmorpg on it and it often lose connection wireless hmm... didnt happen with the desktop though.
