my fans seem to be louder than usual...

Not because their spinning faster but at lease one of them seems to be louder...

It might be because you could have done something to make to make them faster yes. Or they are just dirty and then they have to work more.

Try cleaning them out with a can of compressed air.

If they are clogged up then that should do the trick.
