Alright, so I currently have an average lenovo b560 laptop. Nothing special but certainly not a bad laptop. I am saving my pennies for a gaming computer with a budget of about $700 (is that too low? or could I even go lower?). If you can already guess I am a bit frugal. 
I am curious as to how I will set things up in my room with my xbox360/tower/monitor/cords etc. Obviously I don't want to buy a new monitor. Along with this text are pictures of my TV that I use with my xbox and my current desk. What I was thinking of doing was having the tv back behind the desk with the mount thing that I have. I would have the keyboard in the middle of the desk along with the mouse. In the two right hand side compartments there will be my tower and below that my xbox360 (or vice versa) with a bit of crafty air ventilation incorporated somewhere in the midst of all that
.... Both will be connected to the monitor with hdmi's/etc. So basically I am just asking what you think of that and what your input is on the setup all together. Thanks a ton.
