Here's my problem, I have a Sony Vaio RS630G P4 3.2 gig 768mb Ram, 128 mb Raedon Video Card (running XP pro SP2). My problem is this, for the most part I am satisfied with watching movies and videos on my pc that I've downloaded. I have an altec lansing soundcard with 5.1 surround sound. (The subwoofer has two 6 inch subs that'l know your socks off). Basically its a high end sound card. What I want to do is hook up my 35 inch tv on the other side of the room, the problem being is that It gets really annoying to be watching a movie in front of you and having all of the sound coming from behind you. Is there any way to have multiple audio outs so that one can go to my pc speakers and the other to my tv's sound system? Any help would be awesome. In doing this this would save me the time of rencoding all of my divx and xvid files to avi, and all of the dvd's. :)

To see a diagram of my speaker system you can go here http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/acc/ada995/ click on setup for the diagrams - The speaker system is an altec lansing ada995

um...what your saying is that you want to run a audio cable from comp to your tv then all you need is plug the cable from your comp to your tv into line out...if you dont have this one MIGHT be located in front the computer...if you find none of these then you will need a 3.5mm headphone lead spliter and split the line for your tv and your speakers through one of the outs
