Multi-tasking

Why should you buy a large monitor? MULTI-TASKING! Oh my god do I love the simplicity Windows 7 makes it too. I just want to know what your opinions are on multi-tasking.

are you referencing the "click" features? if so, me too (like them). they seem to be just sort of a bell (and whistle) but it really makes things go a lot faster when hurrying to get a task done that requires many windows open at once. large monitor? pff, multiple monitors :P watch a movie fullscreen on one and do stuff on the other, utilizing the click features while you're at it :) actually doing that right now.

Click features, elaborate? I'm talking about dragging the window to the left side, and it covers the left side, and dragging it to the right, covers the right.

i know what you mean windows 7 makes multitasking much more easy and fun i reccently had no choice but to downgrade to xp or vista and really miss the new aero features especially areo snap, but i found a program for xp and vista that does the same, plus the general quickness of 7 makes it real easy to do

nothing in particular it just builds up and im to lazy to close them all, i usually have numerous notpad windows mozilla windows maybe a game, the control panel, music or video player running, windows explorer, cd burning software the list goes on

fair enough it never really bothers me ive got my pc on a big screen and i like to have things open to save time instead of having to re open them when i need them again on on win 7 it very rarely slows the computer down

those and the dragging to the top to fill the entire screen are the click features. i love them.

what was ever wrong with double clicking the bar at the top to maximize it  the only time I used the feature was when I was typing something up that was from college intranet, so had half word, half the document, but I do that on vista regularly, maximise, reduce to half and it goes to exactly half, sure it is a couple extra clicks and a couple extra seconds, but how lazy and impatient do you have to be if that is too long and too much work :P
