Mouse Movement and Internet

I have been testing out on my desktop, and i found out that, if i do not move my mouse, my internet connection downloading bandwidth drops to a ridiculously low value. Once i move my mouse, it shoots up to much much higher values of 300kBps from 10kBps. It is NOT a coincidence as i have tried this for many times, and it is true every time i move the mouse.

Is there any reason for this, and how do i solve it? This problem prevents me from downloading at a fast rate when i am sleeping.

Really need help. (Sry, but it cannot be a coincidence)

You can try a downloding program like flashget (which also allows you to download things more quickly. (multiple connections to same file)

have been using...

yes, i have been using free download manager as my download manager, but this things still happen, whether i am using multiple connection or not... speed drops from 150kBps to 10kBps.... still... when i dun move my mouse...

its getting very bad for my download speed. is there anything i can do???

Get a macro program that moves your mouse. i don't know what it could be...

i suspect my desktop doesnt power the CPU as much if i dun move the mouse...
