Modem Standby Program

Are there any program out there on the internet that can be used to Standby a internet cable modem?

why, does it keep timing out? Can you explain what you mean a little more...

Like the button on some cable modems mine does not have one but i was wonderin if there is a program that can do what the button does.

Again im not understanding of what your asking.. The only button on my modem is to turn it on or off... What brand/model modem do you have?

The stand-by button shuts down the front panel LEDs and disconnects communication between the cable modem and the computer connected through the cable modem, while remaining active on the cable operator's RF network. This provides a means of security to the user by "disconnecting" them from the Internet when im not using it.

Ok i understand now... There is no program, but if you right click on you network neighborhood, and find the lan icon. If you disable it... that would be the same thing. Im sure you could find a quick "run" command for this, and apply a batch file. Anyone know the command? ill go look it up.
