Microsoft UAA Function Driver for High Definition Audio

I have searched almost everywhere to find the "Microsoft UAA Function Driver for High Definition Audio" that technical support says I need to get. The suggested the Microsoft website but all I found was a word document. Does anyone know where I can find it?
 
I'm not very clued up with High Def Audio, but would this be anything related to what you need? Also, why does technical support say you need it?
